1Browsing Available Items
Start by browsing the marketplace. You can search for specific items using the search bar, or explore categories like Tools, Sports Equipment, Electronics, and more. Use filters to narrow down by price, distance, and availability.

- Use the map view to find items in specific areas
- Save items to your favorites for easy access later
2Checking Item Details
Click on any listing to see detailed information including photos, description, pricing (hourly, daily, or weekly rates), owner reviews, and availability calendar. Read the item description carefully to understand what is included.
- Check the owner's response rate and reviews
- Look at all photos to understand item condition
- Read the cancellation policy before booking
3Making a Booking Request
Select your rental dates and click "Request to Book." You can add a message to the owner explaining your intended use. The owner will review your request and respond within 24 hours.
- •You won't be charged until the owner accepts your request
- •Make sure to check the deposit amount if required
4Completing Your Rental
Once approved, coordinate pickup or delivery with the owner through our messaging system. Inspect the item at pickup and note any existing damage. Return the item on time and in the same condition.
- Take photos of the item at pickup for your records
- Keep communication within the Solist platform
- Report any issues immediately through the app
