Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get paid?

Payments are deposited directly to your bank account through Stripe after each rental is completed. You receive 100% of your listed rental price — no deductions from your earnings.

What does the renter pay?

The renter pays your listed price plus a service fee (about 13%). The service fee covers platform costs and payment processing. It's charged to the renter on top of your price, so you always get the full amount.

What if something gets damaged?

You set a deposit amount for each listing. The deposit is held (not charged) when the renter books. If there's damage, you can deduct from the deposit when reviewing the return. Both parties document condition with photos at pickup and return.

Can I set my own availability?

Yes. You control your calendar, pricing, and deposit amounts. You can also block specific dates, set minimum rental periods, and require a full checkout process for high-value items.

How does the handoff work?

You and the renter agree on a public meeting location (police station, library, coffee shop, etc.). You take photos of the item before handoff, and the renter documents it at pickup. Same process in reverse for returns.

Can I decline a booking?

Absolutely. Every booking request comes to you for approval. You can approve, decline, or counter-propose different dates. You have 48 hours to respond before the request auto-declines.
